Our presence at Portugal Fit 2023 reaffirmed our mission: to provide quality fitness equipment at a fair price. Events like Portugal Fit are therefore important for us to demonstrate firsthand the journey we’ve been on over the past 7 years.
The 2023 edition took place this weekend in Santarém, and our team is brimming with ideas for the future!
MORE THAN JUST A GATHERING...
Participating in events like Portugal Fit brings many benefits to the companies represented and to professionals working in the fitness industry. It’s more than just a gathering or a simple meeting: participating in events like Portugal Fit helps us stay abreast of the fitness market.
One of the main benefits is networking and the opportunity to further expand our network of contacts. In BOOMFIT’s case, we had the chance to strengthen our relationship with the professionals who choose our brand to train and equip their fitness spaces. The feedback we received throughout the weekend confirms that we are on the right track, providing insights into how we can and should continue to keep pace with this market while addressing the evolving needs of the fitness industry.
From this weekend, we’re also bringing back new connections, which will certainly translate into fruitful collaborations and new business opportunities!
For other professionals, attending Portugal Fit is driven by the importance of staying in tune with the market, updating and strengthening their knowledge of the field. Hundreds of athletes, for example, visited the BOOMFIT booth, showing great curiosity about the new products we plan to introduce to the market in the short and medium term and how they can evolve their training programs. Another highlight of the weekend was the various workshops and lectures that provided a boost of “motivation” for those looking to keep up with fitness trends in Portugal and around the world.
The fact that events like Portugal Fit serve as a “stage” for opportunities is proof that the fitness industry is highly diverse and presents challenges worth highlighting, such as the competition within the sector. The growing number of professionals entering this field necessitates differentiation and, above all, the personalization of the training programs they offer. It is through richer training and knowledge that you can make a difference and, thus, deliver a value-added service to your athletes with proven results.
BOOMFIT AT PORTUGAL FIT
Following this idea, BOOMFIT headed to Santarém. Our team wanted to showcase what we do best: providing support and helping all our professionals obtain the best fitness equipment and accessories.
As an online store, we wanted to demonstrate our commitment to all professionals and presented ourselves with a fully digital and interactive booth, featuring many challenges for everyone who stopped by. We organized various activities and gave out plenty of prizes. What sparked the most curiosity was, without a doubt, the barbell exercises for CrossFit athletes. We’re talking about exercises like the Clean, Jerk, or Push Press. The bravest participants went up to 80 kilograms, with one athlete completing 100 repetitions and another doing 36.
Our presence also extended to the workshops. Our CEO, Vítor Brandão, was one of the speakers at Portugal Fit, where he spoke about the power of a “Love Brand”!
It was two intense days, but with a sense of mission accomplished! We received feedback to continue this journey for the benefit of all professionals and athletes, giving us ideas for equipment we should provide or services we should offer. We’ll reflect on all the ideas and activities, with the promise that the best is yet to come! We want to stay in touch with all professionals and we want to continue earning your preference!
